The Over Door Arm Exerciser is designed to help post-operative patients regain arm movement.
Individual instruction should be given to the patient from their healthcare professional.
USER GUIDE
The Excerciser can be positioned over a door so that when the door is closed the top webbing is 'jammed' in place.
A loop is also atttached to the top part of the Excerciser so it can be hung from a hook instead of a door.
There are two adjustable hand loops and when the patient is excercising, their hands could be put inside the loops in a comfortable position, so that they do not need to 'hang on' to the loops.
When using the excerciser, the patient should sit in a chair with their back to the door or wall, and use their good arm to lift the poor arm.
After the lift, the arm should be lowered down again by raising their good arm to lift the poor arm.
